This ELISA kit uses Competition-ELISA as the method to detect the Estradiol (E2) in human serum. The ELISA Microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with goat anti-rabbit antibody. Add samples, HRP labeled E2 (HRP Conjugate) and anti-E2 antibody. If E2 exist in sample will competition with HRP Conjugate, to form a goat anti-rabbit antibody, anti-E2 antibody and HRP Conjugate complex. Free components are washed away. The substrate reagent is added to initiate the color developing reaction. The presence of E2 can be determined according to the absorbance value by using a microplate reader with 450 nm (630 nm) wavelength.
