ANKRD54 plays a vital role in regulating intracellular signaling events related with erythroid terminal differentiation. ANKRD54 interacts with LYN through ankyrin repeat region and the SH3-domain in an activation-independent status of LYN. ANKRD54 creates a multiprotein complex with LYN and HCLS1.
